This is the Christ

Hello everyone!!

I hope y'all have had a wonderful week!! One month from today I will be heading home! Crazy how fast time has gone!!

ZONE CONFERENCE
We had zone conference this week and Wow it was amazing as always! I always leave so uplifted and inspired! A tradition that we have each zone conference is to sing "This is the Christ". Every time we sing it I can't help but get teary eyed. I've come to know and love my Savior in such a real and personal way. I also shared my departing testimony. I remember sitting in my very first zone conference hearing the departing missionaries share their testimony and thinking I would never get there haha! And then I blinked and I was the one up there sharing my love for the Savior I have gained the last 18 months. I'm so grateful for my mission❤

GRAYSON
We are teaching an amazing kid named Grayson! He's 15 years old and LOVES the gospel!! He goes to seminary everyday, comes to church every week and is working on reading the whole Book of Mormon! He wants to be baptized so badly but is working through some trials with his family situation. We had a lesson with him last night and it was so good!! We asked him how his life has changed since he's been coming to church and he shared an amazing testimony! He talked about how he doesn't know everything but what he does know is that His Heavenly Father has a plan for him and that as he exercises faith things will work out! He teared up and just has such a special Spirit!!

REGINE
Wow Regine is such a special person. With the recent passing of her husband she is going back to Africa to be with her family and to have the funeral there. We went over the day before she left with a member who gave her a Priesthood blessing! It was such a beautiful blessing! She is so strong and has an amazing spirit! She had already looked up where the church in Africa is and she is planning on going there! She also asked if we could have missionaries continue to teach her in Africa. She's so amazing!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
Yesterday morning before church I was studying about the Sacrament. I'm so grateful for the blessing of partaking of the Sacrament weekly. It's such a special time we have to reflect on the Savior and strive to do better the next week.

"The Sacrament is a time to meaningfully reflect upon the life of the Savior, to examine and match our own life against his perfect example, and then to resolve to narrow the gap. But it is not easy. Fortunately, there is a divine power to assist us in these resolves- it is the power of the Saviors love, which is so visibly manifest in his Atonement. His love is like a spiritual magnet that draws us upward." -Tad R. Callister

I love y'all! Have a fantastic week!
