Hello wonderful people!
WOW WOW WOW I don't even know where to start! The past 18 months have been the BIGGEST blessing in my life! I've met some of the sweetest, most amazing people! Seeing people change and feel the Saviors love is something I can't even describe! I LOVE my mission, I LOVE Virginia, I LOVE the people, I LOVE each of you, I LOVE the gospel, and I LOVE my Savior! I'm just overflowing with love and can't imagine my life without all the people I've met the last 18 months!❤
I've learned so many valuable lessons the past year and a half! I learned what it means to give all you can to the Lord and trust Him to do the rest. I've seen the power that reading the Book of Mormon daily has. I've seen daily miracles wrought by faith. I've felt the most PURE JOY I've ever had in my life, I've also felt deep discouragement and doubt. I've learned the power that a simple and humble prayer can have. I've seen that the Lord places people in our lives at the time we need them the most. I've learned to enjoy the beauty around me. I've seen the power of the devil, but also that God's power is ALWAYS stronger. I've felt the happiness that comes when people follow the Savior and make covenants with Him. I've also felt the pain of seeing people I love go astray. I've learned to see myself and the people around me as a precious child of God. I've learned to choose to be happy! I've had some of my hardest laughs and hardest cries. I've made so many lifelong best friends and felt an infinite amount of love for the people around me. I've seen my weaknesses be made into strengths and seen the power of repentance. I've felt the enabling power of the Atonement and seen it work in the lives of those around me. I've come to have a greater appreciation for my amazing family. I've come to know what it means to be an instrument in the hands of God. I've learned to listen to the Spirit and receive personal revelation for myself! And MANY, MANY, MANY more things!!
I want y'all to know that Sister Megan Rae Stringham KNOWS this church is true!! Thinking back 18 months ago I didn't truly understand the infinite LOVE the Savior has for each of us! But wow I sure know that now! I know that Jesus Christ understands us and His Atonement is REAL and POWERFUL! I know that Heavenly Father has a perfect and individual plan for each of us and He wants us to be happy! I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet and that Russell M. Nelson is our prophet on the earth today. I'm grateful for the humble guidance we receive from the prophets! I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that reading it daily brings us more happiness and direction than anything else! I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and you and everyone!
I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVES!
Thanks for showing me so much love and support the last 18 months! It's truly been the most amazing adventure of my life! I can hardly wait to see y'all in a couple day!!!
