FAITH!!

Hello everyone!!

Another week full of miracles!! Missions are the greatest!❤

INTERVIEWS
This week we had interviews with President Droubay! This was my departing interview....ahhh so crazy!! It was great though! President talked to me about the importance of attending the temple, continuing to study everyday, partake of the Sacrament weekly, getting married, all that good stuff haha! I'm so grateful for everything that I learned from both President and Sister Droubay. I love them so much and they have truly changed my life for the better! They help me see my potential and find ways to reach it! I love them!

EXCHANGES
We had exchanges this week with the Scotchtown Sisters, Sister Calvin and Sister Lawton. I got to serve around both of them in Virginia Beach and it's so fun to still get to learn from them. I was with Sister Lawton for the day and I love her so much!! She has such an amazing testimony and we have become great friends over the last few months! We had a day full of miracles together!! One miracle was that we went to a cute little park to talk to people and draw a gospel of Jesus Christ hopscotch on the sidewalk haha! We talked to an amazing lady there that I know we definitely needed to meet! We talked to her for quite a while and she's really interested in learning more! She even asked if she could take an extra pass along card to give to one of her friends!!

ANTHONY
On Saturday this week we met a guy named Anthony who talked with missionaries back in the summer but lost contact. Since then he has been reading the Book of Mormon and searching for a church. We stopped by and had a great discussion with him! Then the next day he came to church!! He seemed to really enjoy it and was even taking notes throughout Sunday school! He said that we came to his house at just the right time when he really needed help! I'm excited to keep teaching him and helping him and his family!

DIEDDERA
Okay wow we are teaching such an amazing lady named Dieddera! She was a referral from a member in another ward. She has such an amazing Spirit about her! When we teach her she tells us how she gets chills and feels so much joy! She has been reading the Book of Mormon and even asked for a few extra copies to give to members of her family! I love her and I'm so excited to see what amazing things the Lord has in store for her!!

PRIESTHOOD BLESSINGS
I have gained such a strong testimony of the Priesthood throughout my mission!! It's amazing how every time I get a blessing things are said that nobody would know I needed except me and my Heavenly Father! I know that my Heavenly Father loves His children so much and he wants to speak with us and help us! It's such a blessing to have the true Priesthood of God on the earth. I'm grateful for worthy men who can use it to bless the lives of others!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
This week I've been studying in Ether about the Brother of Jared! He is such an amazing example to me of faith! Elder Jeffrey R. Holland spoke about the childlike, simple faith that the brother of Jared showed when he said, “Behold, O Lord, thou canst do this” (Ether 3:5): “Surely God, as well as the reader, feels something very striking in the childlike innocence and fervor of this man’s faith. ‘Behold, O Lord, thou canst do this.’ Perhaps there is no more powerful, single line of faith spoken by man in scripture. It is almost as if he is encouraging God, emboldening him, reassuring him. Not ‘Behold, O Lord, I am sure that thou canst do this.’ Not ‘Behold, O Lord, thou hast done many greater things than this.’ However uncertain the prophet is about his own ability, he has no uncertainty about God’s power. There is nothing here but a single, clear, bold, and assertive declaration with no hint or element of vacillation. It is encouragement to Him who needs no encouragement but who surely must have been touched by it. ‘Behold, O Lord, thou canst do this’” I love that!! I've seen on my mission the power of exercising faith in the Savior. It truly causes amazing miracles to happen!! If you feel like your faith is lacking pray for strength, open the Book of Mormon and then go out and help someone!! Miracles are just waiting to happen!!

I love y'all so much!! I hope you have a wonderful week!!
