Hello everyone!!

Another wonderful week in VA!!❤

THE CHRIST CHILD

If you haven't seen the new Christ child video that was put out for light the world this year you need to go watch it!! It's AMAZING!! You can find it on Lighttheworld.org. we have been sharing it with lots of members, less actives and people that we are teaching! Every time we watch it my testimony of the Savior grows! Wow I just love it so much. I'm so grateful for my Savior and for this Christmas season!

EXCHANGES

We had exchanges with the Oceana Sisters this week, Sister Mansfield and Sister Juluson! They are amazing! This is Sister Julusons first transfer and I went to High school with her! So fun! I was with Sister Mansfield for the day!! I love her so much! We have been in the same zone for 6 months so we've been on quite a few exchanges Haha! We were joking that we feel like we have been companions by this point! ;) We had an amazing day together! It was full of lessons and Sister Mansfield is an incredible teacher! She has taught me how to just be real with people! I love her!

INTERVIEWS

This week we also had interviews with President Droubay. He's amazing! I'm so grateful for the Droubays and their constant love and guidance for the mission! They are truly called of God!

SERVICE

We did some fun service this week! We did a food distribution service project with the branch! We got a lot done! There were also some members of the Newtown ward there and it was fun to see them! We also go to the "Bread of Life" food pantry every week! This is one of my very favorite things! We have gotten to know the people there so well and it's such a fun place to be! If you want to be happy...go serve someone!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

I was reading a talk by Elder Uchtdorf this week that reminded me what we must do to find the most happiness in life.

“I am come,” Jesus declared, “that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

"We achieve that abundant life not by focusing on our own needs or on our own achievements but by becoming true disciples of Jesus Christ—by following in His ways and engaging in His work. We find the abundant life by forgetting ourselves and engaging in the great cause of Christ."

I love that. We achieve an abundant life when we forget about ourselves and serve others. I've seen that so much in my own life. We really do find the most happiness from serving those around us!
