Happy Thanksgiving!❤

Hello everyone!

I hope y'all have had a wonderful week! Today mark's 16 months of being a missionary! Time needs to slow down a little bit Haha!

FISHERS BAPTISM

Yesterday my cute little brother Fisher got baptized! I had the opportunity to video call in and share a brief testimony! It was such a special experience to get to be part of his baptism day! I'm so grateful for my family and the amazing examples they are to me!

7 PEOPLE AT CHURCH?!?

Yesterday there were 7 non members at church! That is an all time record haha! We helped 2 of those people come and the other 5 were friends of members! The Tidewater YSA branch is so amazing!! We have been working with some members and encouraging them to pray for missionary opportunities! And those opportunities are coming!! Wow. The church is true.

MLC

This week we had a mission leadership council in Richmond! It was a lot of fun. The new missionary handbook just came out! We had a big discussion about that and how we can help our mission be as obedience as we can. Something that really stuck out to me is how much the Lord trusts us! I love serving as a Sister training leader! It has been so humbling to feel the Lord work through me. I continue to learn so much everyday!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

With Thanksgiving this week I've been thinking a lot about gratitude! WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BE GRATEFUL FOR!

How can we cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude? President Joseph F. Smith, provided an answer. Said he: “The grateful man sees so much in the world to be thankful for, and with him the good outweighs the evil. Love overpowers jealousy, and light drives darkness out of his life.” He continued: “Pride destroys our gratitude and sets up selfishness in its place. How much happier we are in the presence of a grateful and loving soul, and how careful we should be to cultivate, through the medium of a prayerful life, a thankful attitude toward God and man!”

Take some time this week and recognize all the things you have to be grateful for! I promise you will be happier! :)

I love all of you so much!! I'm so grateful to be serving here in Tidewater ysa with Sister Grover! She is incredible and we are seeing so many miracles together! Have a wonderful week and don't forget that life is beautiful!
