Happy September! :)

Hello wonderful friends and family!

Another week in beautiful Virginia! I'm so blessed to be serving here! God is good! :)

Long story short...this week was hard! Honestly, probably one of the hardest weeks of my mission. But wow I learned a lot about myself and about my Savior! This week I have seen that the Lord's hand truly is in everything! I'm so grateful that our Heavenly Father knows us perfectly and has a perfect plan for each of us! One of the senior missionaries gave me a Priesthood blessing this week. Every time I get a blessing my testimony of the Priesthood grows so much! I'm so grateful to know that our Heavenly Father is always with us and he understands us perfectly! In a talk by Sharon Eubank she said, "I testify you are beloved. The Lord knows how hard you are trying. You are making progress. Keep going. He sees all your hidden sacrifices and counts them to your good and the good of those you love. Your work is not in vain. You are not alone. His very name, Emmanuel, means “GOD WITH US.” He is surely with you." I know that God truly is with us and is helping mold us into the people He needs us to be! The Church is true and missions truly are the best!!❤

MLC
We went down to Richmond this week for MLC (Mission Leadership Council). This is a meeting with all the Zone leaders, Sister Training leaders, Assistants to the President and President and Sister Droubay. Elder Haynie of the 70 was also there! It was awesome!! I learned so much and felt the Spirit remind me of how important each of us are in the work of the Lord. WE are all needed and we all have an important role to play! It was such a great meeting and i'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve as a Sister Training Leader. Since we live so far from Richmond we also got to have a little sleepover the night before with the Newport News Sisters (Sister Dunn, Sister Alger and Sister Crandall) I was in the MTC with Sister Crandall so it was fun to see her and spend some time with her!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
Read this talk!! "The Book of Mormon: What would your life be like without it" by President Russell M. Nelson from October 2017.

The Book of Mormon is true!! I've learned on my mission the importance of reading the book of Mormon DAILY!! As President Nelson said in this talk:
"My dear brothers and sisters, I promise that as you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon every day, you will make better decisions—every day. I promise that as you ponder what you study, the windows of heaven will open, and you will receive answers to your own questions and direction for your own life. I promise that as you daily immerse yourself in the Book of Mormon, you can be immunized against the evils of the day..."

Y'all are wonderful!! Thank you so much for all the Love and support!! I'm so blessed with the most wonderful friends and family! Missions truly are the best and I'm learning so much about myself and the Savior!! Keep smiling and remember to be grateful for the little things!! Love y'all!!!
