HAPPY LOVE DAY!

Hello Hello Hello!

Happy Valentines day wonderful people! Isn't it so great that our perfect example of LOVE is Jesus Christ! I love that He is always there to love and comfort each of us! I also LOVE being a missionary! There is honestly nothing better! I love Virginia, I love the Chickahominy ward, I love my cute companion and I love testifying of Jesus Christ everyday! It just doesn't get any better than this! We saw miracle after miracle this week! It was insane! The week ended with having 7 people that we have been working with come to church yesterday!

KAIYLAHS BAPTISM!
This week Kaiylah (Klarke and Samanthas daughter) got baptized! I was able to go back to Aquia for the day and support her! It was the best! I got to see some of my very favorite people! But the best part was getting to see Klarke baptize Kaiylah! The spirit was so strong and I just couldn't stop smiling all day! The gospel truly blesses families and it has changed the life of Klarke and Samantha and their family! I'm so very grateful that I have been able to be a part of their life and help them progress in the gospel! We went through so much with this family and it makes me so happy to know that they have become such strong members in the church! They can be sealed as a family this November and I can't wait for them to make that step! It's days like this that make all the hard days so worth it!

"THAT FELT GOOD"
This week we went to visit some cute ladies from the Philippines. They are less active and have so many trials that they are going through right now. We showed up to their house a few nights ago and one of them was sitting out in her car charging her phone. She said she had to do it in her car because they shut their electricity off. We went inside with her and had a good conversation about Jesus Christ and how sometimes we have to go through certain trials to make us stronger. As we sat in that dark little room with nothing but two little candles for light I felt the spirit so strong. These two ladies have gone through so much, and have so much faith in the Savior. Before we left I asked if I could say a prayer with them. They said yes and I tried my best to say the most heart-felt prayer I possibly could. After the prayer one of the ladies looked up at me with tears in her eyes and just said "That felt good". I was able to promise her that things would get better. The Spirit filled the whole room! That was definitely one of the most spiritual experiences on my mission!

ALWAYS FOLLOW THE SPIRIT
This week Sister Georgeson and I have seen so many miracles! Most of the miracles came from just following the promptings of the spirit! One of these Miracles was with a lady named Millie! We have been trying to get in contact for a few weeks and haven't been able to. This week we had some appointments out in her area. As we were leaving an appointment and headed to another one I had the strongest prompting that we needed to go visit her. We were already running late so I just pushed it away. But it wouldn't leave so we turned around and went straight to her house. When we got there we saw a lady getting in her car to leave. We ran up and she rolled down her window, we asked if she was Millie and she said no but she could take us to her. So we got back in our car and followed this lady a few blocks over to the house where Millie was for the day. We were able to go in and meet her! She is so cute and was so happy to see us! She wants to read the Book of Mormon and wants us to come back and teach her more! The Lords timing is always perfect! Another Miracle we had was with a lady named Betty! We had just met with a cute less active family and we were getting in our car to head to dinner. I jumped in the driver seat and Sister Georgeson went behind in back of me. I saw this lady standing over on the street and I really felt like we needed to talk to her. It was one of the strongest promptings I have ever had, I physically couldn't put the key in the car to start it. I just jumped out and we went to talk to this lady! She told us her whole story and about how she has had 5 family members die in the last few months. We were able to share the Plan of Salvation with her and we are going back this week to teach her more! Never push off a prompting from the spirit!!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
We had zone conference this week and it was so good! I just love President and Sister Smith! We discussed the scripture D&C 67:10. I would challenge each of you to read that scripture and really ponder it. Are you truly humble? Do you rely on the Lord in the good times and the hard times? How can you "strip yourself of jealousies and fears? The Lord wants us to trust Him and be humble. We are promised that if we are humble the Lord will bless is in ways we never thought possible!

Love ya'll! Have the best week!
