Merry Christmas from President Smith

This was a nice message from President Smith around Christmas time.

President only emails us back individually every once in a while. He emailed me back this week and I thought you might like to read it:)

Sister Stringham,

It was so nice to see you this week—a couple of times. I just hope you know you have gone from one of the best wards in the mission to another of the best wards in the mission. Someone is looking out for you in the transfer department!!! I hope you are loving the new ward and companion as much as you did Aquia. Four baptisms in 4 months is wonderful and I see no reason for that to end in Chick!

Christmas in the mission is a wonderful time of wide ranging emotions and spiritual growth. You will tell your kids someday about your mission and especially about times like Christmas. I hope you have a bright and cheery Christmas, but more importantly, I hope you find peace and acceptance from the Lord. I know He cares about you and the work you are doing. I know He is in the details of your planning and goal setting and your entire life as a missionary. I hope you feel a special closeness to Him this Christmas!

We love you! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
CBS (President Smith)
