Merry Christmas from Chickahominy!:)

Hello and Merry Christmas!❤

TRANSFERS

Transfers were last Tuesday and I am now serving in the wonderful area of Chickahominy!! I already love it here!!! It is the very east side of the mission! The Richmond airport is in the middle of our area so that's pretty cool!! It's very different from Stafford but I'm so happy to be here!! All the members I have met so far are amazing and the work here is going really well!:)

SISTER BENSON!!

Wow I love Sister Benson so much!! We clicked right away and we have decided we were BFFs in Heaven haha! She is very musically talented and went to Tuachan High School down in St.George! She went to college for a year at Dixie and she is a musical theater major! She's only been out on her mission a transfer longer than I have! We have to much fun together and we are always laughing!! I'm so so grateful for her!!❤

CHRISTMAS CONFERENCE

This week we had our mission Christmas Conference!! It was so much fun! There was lots of music (Sister Benson sang and did a piano solo!) And a few different messages about Christ and his life. I gave a talk about Christ's role in the Pre-mortal life. I was really grateful for that opportunity because I learned so much while preparing for that talk. After the conference we all changed into our gym clothes and played oompa! For those of you that dont know what oompa is...it's ultimate frisbee with a football played on a basketball court Haha! It was a blast!! We also played lightning and got all of our Christmas packages from home! It was such a fun day!! And Sister Cunningham was there so it was so so good to talk to her!❤

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT

With it being Christmas I have really been pondering the life of Jesus Christ and everything he has done for us! Have you ever thought of all the things we wouldn't have If Christ wasn't born?? We wouldn't have true and lasting happiness. We wouldn't have resurrection or eternal life. We wouldn't have eternal families. We wouldn't have peace and hope during trials. We wouldn't have repentance or forgiveness. Miracles. Blessings. Comfort. Strength. Peace. Growth. Healing. Christ has given us everything and loves us with a love we can't comprehend! I challenge each of you to continue looking for all the things that we have BECAUSE OF HIM! Christ is the whole reason for the season!❤
