Life is SO good!!

Hello Hello Hello!!
Happy Halloween this week!! I can't believe it's already almost November! Time is flying!! Life is great here in beautiful Virginia!! The leaves are changing on all the trees and wow it's just so beautiful!! I'm so happy and love everything about life right now haha! I love Virginia, I love the Aquia ward, I love my companion, I love this time of year and mostly I love testifying of Christ every single day! Life is so good!

KLARKE AND SAMANTHA ARE GETTING BAPTIZED!
Yep!!! This week we went over to Klarke and Samantha's planning to put them on date for baptism! We brought some members with us and the lesson went so well! Klarke and Samantha have become great friends with the members we brought with us and their daughters are all great friends! We started by reading Alma 32 talking about faith and how it's not a perfect knowledge, then we read in JSH verses 73 and 74 which explain how after Joseph Smith was baptized his eyes were opened and he had blessings pour upon him, and we finished with reading Mosiah 4:12 that explains the blessings that come from being baptized. After doing all of these things and bearing testimony the spirit was SO strong in their little house! We invited them to be baptized on November 6th and they both said a tentative yes and said they would pray about it and let us know the next day. The next day we texted them and asked if they had the chance to pray about it. They responded saying YES they both know this is what they are supposed to do! We freaked out a little! haha They came to church on Sunday with all their little girls and their girls loved it and didn't want to leave! They are the coolest family and so ready to make this step of baptism! We have gone through a lot with them!! The very first lesson I taught on my mission was with them and for the last 12 weeks we have gone over ever week. It's so amazing to see someone come to understand that they have a loving Father in Heaven and Savior who is always there for them! I couldn't be more excited for them!!

TRUNK OR TREAT
This week we had the annual Aquia ward chili cook off and trunk or treat! It was so much fun!! Sister Cunningham and I dressed up as Peanut Butter and Jelly! Everyone loved it! We decorated our car and made Halloween cupcakes to pass out to all the kids!! I love this ward so much, there are so many incredible people and I feel right at home!

ANGELIQUE
Angelique was scheduled to get baptized on October 27th but because of some scheduling conflicts we had to move it to November 3rd! She had her baptismal interview this week and everything is ready for Saturday! Every week when she comes to church she has incredible insights during Sunday school and is always so engaged! Angelique is truly amazing and has taught me so much as we have taught her. She's gone through a lot in her life but she knows she is a powerful woman and that's what she has taught us! Saturday is going to be such a special day, I can't wait!!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
"Miracles are not always so immediate. At times we thoughtfully wonder why the miracle we have so earnestly prayed for does not happen here and now. But as we trust in the Savior, promised miracles will occur. Whether in this life or the next, all will be made right. The Savior declares: “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” I testify that as you love Him, trust Him, believe Him, and follow Him, you will feel His love and approval. As you ask, “What thinks Christ of me?” you will know that you are His disciple; you are His friend. By His grace He will do for you what you cannot do for yourself." -Neil L. Anderson. This week I read a conference talk by Neil L. Anderson titled "What thinks Christ of me?". I loved this talk and it was a great reminder of how much Christ loves us and wants to help us through life. We can't do it on our own but with Him we can truly accomplish ANYTHING!! I invite all of you to let Christ into your life more, He's there with open arms and all you have to do is let Him in and He will work miracles in your life!!

I love you all so much and hope you have a happy Halloween!!
